Learn impressive sushi making skills and discover more about this Japanese art with a Sushi Masterclass at Cognito, Lincoln.
You’ll take a seat downstairs in the restaurant, get ready to learn the techniques behind sushi making led by our our very own talented Sushi Chef where he will explain the format of the day. With a blend of chef’s demonstrations and hands-on experience, you’ll discover a range of techniques and tips, from how to make sushi rice and traditions of Japanese sushi making, to crafting the perfect sushi rolls and nigiri.
Begin with a sake based cocktail on arrival, before enjoying a special sushi making demo before creating your own Omakase Platter (Consisting of three rolls and nigiri), followed by a glass of sake to finish.
At the end the of the masterclass, you’ll enjoy the fruits of your labour including your creations, served with traditional accompaniments – soy, wasabi, and ginger.
This event starts at 6:30pm and will last approximately 2 hours.
Vegetarian and Vegan options available on request – must give at least 48 hours notice.
